Students at St. Thomas More School look forward to the Polar Bear Walk each year. Miss McCallion’s Grade 4 class designed a bulletin board display to educate the staff and students of St. Thomas More about the plight of our polar bears. We adopted a polar bear family through the WWF and used the stuffed animals as mascots for our event. Then we walked, ran, skipped, and danced during our Polar Bear Walk and tracked our steps with pedometers. Together we walked 75 km.
